Growing up in the wild jungle of Portland, Oregon, the intense and extremely liberal lifestyle of the hippies there had some effect on my state of mind. Being reared by a conservative family, where there is nothing wrong with that, and having a father and two older brothers as engineers, the path for me was quite obvious: Advertising. I tried my hand at the vigorous life of an engineer for a year in college, and it was all quite well and good. But after two years of being in the scorching heat of Monterrey, Mexico, I realized a change was in order. My sense of humor is a unique one, indeed, one that some people don’t even understand. Sarcasm of the Future seems appropriate because I can someday see everyone making the same jokes and laughing at the same random things that I do.
